Venee Lotusfire is a priestess, altar/installation artist, and photographer whose spiritual path is love, kindness, and tending to the earth. Her ceremonies and workshops focus on cultivating the divine within, somatic play, deep connection, authentic expression, and leading with love.
She has a BA in Arts and Social Change (Interdisciplinary Arts and Education) and is a Co- Creator of Summer Spark IGNITE, a long term member of the Spark Collective Core, and founder of Ritual Inquiry Lab. She has lead rituals and workshops at Summer Spark IGNITE, Phoenix Fire, the Pagan Festival, Pantheacon and has served as an altar/installation artist at Bioneers, Burning Man, Singing for Your Life, Spiral Dance, and the Altars of Extinction project. Oliver Crow says, “Ritual can be a crucible in which to explore ourselves and to excavate expressions of who we are now and who we are becoming.” Oliver practices an approach to creative expression through ritual arts which he finds to be a powerful tool for self-discovery and authentic expression. He believes that immediatist ecstatic ritual practices can be a be a doorway to greater authenticity, clarity, and to creating communities where our inner and outer lives can be commingled. Oliver is a co-organizer of the Bay Area Spark Collective. He has facilitated and organized rituals in the fire circle tradition, since 2009.
Amber K is an internationally-known author, spiritual teacher, priestess, ritualist, and the Executive Director of Ardantane. Ardantane is a nonprofit alternative learning center and Wiccan/Pagan seminary on 25 acres in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, one hour northwest of Albuquerque. Her books include True Magick, Ritualcraft, Covencraft, How to Become a Witch, and many others.
Azrael Arynn K
Azrael Arynn K brings to Beltania and the larger neo-Pagan community her experience as third degree priestess in the Ladywood Tradition of Wicca, as well as a law degree. As an accredited faculty member at Ardantane, she is Dean of the School of Sacred Living. She has served as National 2nd Officer for Covenant of the Goddess, and First Officer of Chamisa Local Council of COG.We are very excited to have them share their knowledge and experience with us at Beltania this year!
Rev. Jo Butler
Jo Butler was initiated by Starhawk into Witchcraft in the 1970’s, and she has been a witch for over 40 years. Jo is a Living Earth Board Member, a Beltania Staff Member, Crone, and she is devoted to our Mother the Earth.
Joy Burton, B.A., B.F.A., M.S.Ed., is a minister, priestess, teacher, and community organizer. She passionately focuses on service toward the Earth and our community. She is the founder and Executive Director of Living Earth and Beltania, and one of the co-creators and teachers of the Living Earth tradition of modern Paganism.
Joyous Pool is an energy weaver of voice and sound. She sings spirit songs and plays handpan, drums, rattles, and other magical sound instruments.
Michael Heartsong is an artist, musician and shamanic practitioner. He uses didgeridoo, voice, drums, and energetic feather healing to facilitate healing and self awareness.
Soltahr Tiv-Amanda, M.A., LPC is a therapist in private practice and has taught at Naropa, CU Boulder, and Regis University in Denver. Soltahr has been a priestess on the spiritual path of the Goddess for over 30 years. She is an ordained minister, adjunct clergy at Living Earth, has studied Shamanic healing and is a Reiki Master. Soltahr also acts as a consultant to various organizations and educational institutions.
Rev. William Ashton and Rev. Missy Burchfield
These newlyweds are the hosts of HearthFire Sanctuary. Rev. Ashton is a graduate of Naropa University, and is one of the ordained Priests and founder of Mountain Ancestors Grove. He enjoys sharing a larger vision of how a polytheist perspective can lead to human understanding and acceptance. Rev. Burchfield is Editor-in-chief of ADF’s Oak Leaves, became the first of ADF’s Master Bards, founded the Order of Bardic Alchemy, and has served as the national Member’s Advocate.
Rebecca is the Rainbow Welcome Center coordinator for the festival. Through inclusion she fosters an environment in which all festival goers can contribute to, and be embraced by, our diverse community.
Lacey is Beltania’s Children’s Activities Coordinator.
Elia Brovarone is based out of Denver, an initiate of the Living Earth tradition, and a certified +200 hour yoga instructor. She is presenting several yoga classes and is on the staff.
