Ponderosa Lodge - Back Porch
Gather at 9:45 for a parade from Ponderosa Lodge to Maypole Circle that starts at 10am. Male energy needed to lift and carry the May Queen as she rides astride the maypole, which is about 24 feet long and several hundred pounds. The kids lead the parade, along with the young men and women who are participating in the Rites of Passage. The ribbons are carried by members of the LGBTQIA community who have been holding space at the Rainbow Welcome Center blessing our Rainbow Ribbons. We will ceremonially erect the maypole and all are welcome to dance! All ages. Costumes and festival dress encouraged.
